TYLER CLAIR SMITH X SICK TWIST
In the lead up to the premiere of my directorial debut, Cut, at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in LA, we launched a robust social media campaign built around micro content. By combining mini-podcasts about famous horror movies and short quotes from horror directors, we maintained a steady heartbeat of content until it was time to hype the film itself through stills, festival annoucnements and other news.
With my partner Fred Sprinkle, I established the creative direction of the Sick Twist brand, developed and implemented the social strategy, and oversaw press outreach. As a result, our follower count doubled within a month and we began to gain a foothold in the crowded horror film space.
